For 40 years  Russell  owned, operated and managed a wide variety of businesses. These businesses include, Public Relations, Retail Management in Supermarkets, Department stores, Furniture stores, and other retail outlets, Live Theatre Management, Production and Direction of Live shows, Television Production, Cinemas, Concert, Festivals and Event Management, Food Distribution, Motel Management, Bar and night Club Management, Charter Boat Management and Operation, Internet Service Provider, Communications and Telephone Sales, Painting and Construction and he has worked with major events as the Commonwealth Games (Ticketing), World Expo 88 (Event Contractor and Producer of shows for nightly activities for 6 months at the 10,000 seat open venue)
